Certifications:
STS - Senior Transition Specialist
The STS certification is earned by professionals who complete Seniornicity's Senior Transition Specialist training, demonstrating they understand the practical, emotional, and logistical needs of older adults navigating major life changes: downsizing, relocation, care decisions, and estate transitions. Every provider approved into a Seniornicity chapter completes STS certification before their membership activates.
RSSA - Registered Social Security Analyst
Registered Social Security Analysts complete accredited coursework and testing to advise individuals and couples on how and when to claim Social Security benefits, decisions that can significantly affect lifetime retirement income. RSSAs use specialized analysis tools to model claiming strategies tailored to each person's circumstances.
SHSS - Senior Home Safety Specialist
Offered by Age Safe® America, a national authority in senior home safety since 2015, the Senior Home Safety Specialist certification trains professionals to conduct comprehensive home safety assessments, identify fall risks, and recommend practical modifications that help older adults age safely in place. The program goes beyond mobility, covering fire safety, scam prevention, and home technology, and has certified graduates in all 50 states.

The Alzheimer's Association is the nation's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Through local chapters across the country, it provides education programs, caregiver support groups, and a free 24/7 Helpline at 800-272-3900, while funding research toward treatment and prevention.
