Seniornicity assists older adults and family members in navigating every stage of the journey: from the foundation of preparing for the financial obligations of aging (financial planning, insurance, annuities and more) to non-medical transition resources (senior placement agents, caregivers, lenders, estate sales, property management, home safety, senior-vetted real estate agents and more) through the final stage of bereavement services.

We help you and your family see the entire picture, from financial longevity and aging in place to downsizing, care, everything in between and after. A Seniornicity Transition Consultant gets to know your family, assesses what's actually needed, and builds the plan and the team around it.

Seniornicity Chapter Member badge

What the Chapter Member badge means

A Seniornicity Chapter Member is a local provider who has gone through review and approval by Seniornicity's Senior Advisory Board, a step beyond simply joining our network. When your plan calls for a provider carrying this badge, you know that vetting has already happened.

STS_Certification_Logo

Senior Transition Specialist (STS) Certification

When you see the STS shield, you know your provider went beyond the basics. The STS is Seniornicity's proprietary certification in the ethics of serving older adults and the realities of every transition, earned through five training modules and a final exam, with a verifiable certificate shown right on the provider's Seniornicity profile. It's our assurance that the professional beside you is prepared, ethical, and held to a higher standard.

What's not included

Seniornicity's fees cover consulting, planning, monitoring, and coordination. They do not include the cost of caregivers, contractors, home modifications, senior living, movers, estate sale companies, real estate services, attorneys, financial professionals, medical providers, therapists, transportation, or other independent third-party providers. Those providers set their own pricing and contracts directly with your family.

A note on medical care

Seniornicity Transition Consulting provides non-medical planning, navigation, resource coordination, and transition support. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, nursing services, or clinical care management. Medical and clinical needs are always directed to appropriately licensed professionals.

Terms of Service

Seniornicity acts solely as a non-medical planning, navigation, and coordination resource. Third-party providers referred or coordinated through Seniornicity are independent businesses, and Seniornicity is not liable for their acts, services, or conduct. Read the full Terms of Service and Limitation of Liability for complete details.

Common questions

What counts as a provider coordination action?

A coordination action is any time your consultant actively manages something with a provider on your behalf: scheduling a caregiver interview or home safety visit, following up with a mover, estate sale company, or contractor on status or timing, resolving a scheduling conflict between two providers, relaying documents or instructions, or checking in on a provider's progress. This is separate from contact with your consultant directly, which is unlimited.

What happens after my 90-day or 6-month term ends?

You can renew at a reduced rate, step up or down to a different tier, or conclude the engagement, whatever fits your family's situation at that point.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. There's no obligation to purchase a plan. It's a chance for us to understand your situation and recommend the right level of support, if any.

Do you provide caregivers, movers, or other services directly?

No. Seniornicity coordinates and navigates. Independent, vetted third-party providers deliver the underlying services and are paid separately.

Can I go over my included visits or contact limits?

Yes. Additional in-person visits on Tier 2 are billed at $225 each. Tier 3 includes up to 10 coordination actions per month; needs beyond that are discussed in advance.

What if my situation changes mid-term?

Your consultant updates your plan as circumstances change. That's part of what you're paying for. Significant scope changes, like moving from Tier 2 to Tier 3, can be discussed anytime.
